How can my school keep 100% of the profits?

The reason we have been doing so well is due to our partnership with the school. We personalize the program to meet your needs. We like to do the entire program the first year, using the FundRunners' team. This allows you to see the different aspects of the program.

After you become familiar with the program, we open the doors for you to take more ownership of the program depending on your volunteer base. We train you on one or two aspects of the program and allow you to manage that part with our day to day guidance. This allows you to keep more of the donations. After your feet are wet or whenever you feel comfortable, we set up an account for you, and you can choose what aspects of the program you want to do yourself with volunteers and what aspects you want FundRunners team to cover.

For example, If you have the volunteers needed to manage the character days, you can contract FundRunners to do the assembly kick-off and the Fun Run event. We will always be here to provide the pledge cards, prize program and t-shirts at bulk discounted prices to keep the feel of the program professional. Also, FundRunners will always be ready to do the entire program for you from year to year because we know the volunteer base changes from year to year. Many schools around the nation have made this program their own.

Can I safely transmit information such as credit card numbers?

Yes. We use 128-bit Secure Socket Layers (SSL), the industry standard in transferring information to process your orders, to secure the checkout process.

The SSL encrypts, or translates, your order information into a highly indecipherable code, which is processed immediately. With SSL implemented on both the client and server, your Internet communications are transmitted in encrypted form. When you've finished shopping and begin the checkout process, you will move into the secure area of our site. A warning window may pop up to notify you that you are entering this "safe" area. Once you've entered, the page address (URL) will change from http to https, to let you know you are in a secure area. Also, a key or a closed lock will appear in the lower left hand corner of your screen to notify you of this change. You will remain in this secure zone for the entire checkout process.

Only your computer and the server can encrypt and decrypt your information. In transit, the information is an unreadable jumble. An intermediary can continue to route the data, and even make copies of it, but the information cannot be decrypted and remains private and safely communicated.
