Sponsors have two options. They can donate their pledged money online using a debit or credit card,
or they can write a check and give the check to their sponsored student. Each student is given a
collection envelope to keep up with their money and turn into the school. Also, FundRunners sends
each sponsor ‘Thank You’ notes, and we send each parent a ledger of their student’s sponsors, pledges,
and collected amounts. We also provide hands on instruction on processing the money and provide
spreadsheets that simplify collections.
All the pledged money is due within 7 days of the Fun Run day. All donations are 100% tax deductible.
FundRunners’ schools keep 60% to 100% of the collected monies depending on the Flex option the school chose.
